Data Deletion Request

B F S Commercial Brokers LLC (trading as Businesses For Sale, "we", "us", "our") respects your right to request deletion of your personal data. This page explains how to make a request and what we will do in response.
This page is referenced by our Privacy Policy and is the dedicated channel for data deletion requests, including for data we have received through Instagram or WhatsApp.
1. How to Request Deletion
To request that we delete your personal data, contact us through any of the following channels:

Please include in your request:
- Your full name
- The phone number you used to contact us (so we can locate your record)
- The email address you used to contact us, if applicable
- Your Instagram or Facebook handle, if you contacted us via Instagram
- A brief statement confirming you are requesting deletion of your data
2. What We Delete
Upon verifying your identity, we will delete:
- Your contact details (name, phone, email)
- Your business interests and category preferences
- Messages exchanged through WhatsApp, Instagram, and other channels
- Any Instagram comments associated with your account that we have recorded
- Documents or attachments you have shared with us
- Internal notes our brokers have made about you
3. What We May Retain
Where legally required or for legitimate business reasons, we may retain limited information:
- Records required for compliance with UAE tax, anti-money-laundering, or other regulatory laws
- Transaction records for any deal you completed with us, for the period required by law
- Aggregate, anonymised data that cannot identify you
4. Response Time
We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days. If we cannot complete the deletion (for example, because we are legally required to retain certain records), we will explain why.
5. Verification
To protect your data, we may ask you to verify your identity before deletion — typically by replying from the phone number or email address on file. This prevents someone else from requesting deletion of your record without your authorisation.
